FoodSaver (“we”, “our”, “us”) helps users discover discounted surprise bags from nearby merchants. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information We Collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, profile avatar.
- Location information: your selected or device location (if granted) to show nearby listings and to save/store locations for your merchant profile.
- Order & payment information: order details. Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full payment card numbers.
- Device & usage data: app version, device type, and limited analytics/diagnostics to improve performance and stability.
- Camera access (QR scanning only): We access your device camera solely to scan QR codes for order verification. We do not capture or store photos or video, and no biometric data is collected.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide and operate the app (e.g., show nearby surprise bags, manage bookings, merchant features).
- Support payments and receipts.
- Prevent fraud, secure accounts, and comply with legal obligations.
- Improve the app and customer support.
3. Sharing with Third Parties
We share data only as needed to provide the service:
